Story
I started this blog because I wanted to share my creativity with the world. When I’m feeling stressed, annoyed, or even bored, doing artistic and creative things is my outlet and my release. My blog tells my story through many various creative undertakings and my desire to show you that you too can make, bake, and create all things pretty.
How would I describe my style? Well, I’ll let YOU be the judge of that, but some of my biggest influences are: Martha Stewart, Candace Olsen, and Ina Garten. They are all tremendous talents and their styles resonate with me, and I try to incorporate some of their moves into my own work.
Throughout the years, many of my friends, family members, and colleagues have encouraged me to really pursue event planning. Admittedly, I did not always have the confidence to make a career out of it, but planning and decorating for events is not only one of my passions, but it is also very much therapeutic to me. I’ve never viewed planning an event as work, but rather it has always been a fun activity or project to do. My primary focus when planning an event is the details. I’m looking for the “wow,” “the jaw drop,” the “amazed-look,” or the “breathtaking” response.
